Dear Fellow Republicans
Republican Donald Trump was elected based on his common-sense solution to put America first. Following Trump's lead, it is time for the Georgia GOP to put Republicans first.
What does putting Republicans first mean? It means...
Fiscal responsibility - the GA GOP is broke (see here) (and here). We cannot advocate fiscal responsibility while spending more than we take in. We must lead by example if we expect to raise money and remain solvent.
Personal responsibility - our party needs strength. Both our officers and our candidates should be held responsible for their actions. Always. It's time to take pride in our brand, and hold those who wave its flag accountable to their promises. We can only raise money and convert voters if we are credible and consistent.
Converting new GOP voters - everyone is a potential Republican. We must stop blaming shifting demographics for Republican losses (see here), and instead attract new voters with our true and winning message.
Respect - we learn respect from our elders. You don't grow a party by excluding people or patronizing them with token gestures. You don't attract voters that way, either. Our conservative, Republican message is the truth, and stands on its own, so let's always be respectful as we work together to share it with the public.
Bias toward action - our party has forgotten this. Taking selfies with important figures and attending various meetings does not get our message to new voters. Action does. We need boots on the ground to meet those we have yet to reach, not hands on the backs of those we already know. (see here) (and here).
Trump has it right, and it is a simple formula for us to copy here in Georgia. By putting Republicans first, we will naturally win elections, retain our conservative principles, and keep Georgia red for decades to come.
It's time Georgia surprises the nation by electing a Republican Party Chairman who believes the Republican Party should put Republicans first. That is why I ask for your vote for Chairman of the GA GOP this June in Augusta (see here)."
